Comments A little over 4 miles today through DC. A crazy wind storm (pictures here) last night (70+ mph winds) took down a bunch of trees and limbs, although the trails I ran on in Rock Creek Park were surprisingly clear. It's also incredibly hot and humid. The high reached 104 yesterday and is supposed to hit 100 today.

"Friday night’s violent windstorm that ripped through the Washington area has devastated the Pepco electric system, leaving more than 443,000 of Pepco’s 788,000 customers without power. Winds in excess of 70 miles per hour uprooted trees and blew down limbs, which brought down numerous power lines and broke crossarms and poles."
